2015 Hyundai Verna FaceliftAccording to a report by Overdrive, 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift will be launched on 16 February, 2015. Chinese and Russian versions have already received the updated changes. The new Verna will receive cosmetic as well as mechanical changes.

After being criticized for a light and noisy suspension, the 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift will focus more on suspension and steering, similar to what was seen on the new elite I20. The cosmetic touches will bring about changes to the front and rear bumper, larger headlamps, tweaked rear reflectors, a hexagonal grille, fog lamps, LED tail lights and a new infotainment system with increased number of airbags.

Hyundai is expected to carryover the same engine line for the 2015 Verna facelift, but it is rumored to bring in the new 6 speed automatic transmission to replace the aging 4- speed automatic box. The manual transmission will be carried over unaltered. The current Verna is available with four engine options. The diesel engines on offer are the 1.4 CRDi and 1.6 CRDi, both the engines are available with a six-speed manual gear box,and a 4 speed automatic torque converter for the 1.6. The petrol variant comes in 1.4 and 1.6 with a 5 speed manual gearbox and a 4 speed automatic gearbox for the 1.6.

Hyundai will launch a new compact SUV and elite i20 cross after the 2015 Verna facelift. A total of 6 new products including facelifts are planned for 2015.
