Tesla Model 3 Canada: The 584-km RWD Listing Was Reverted

Tesla’s Canadian Model 3 Premium Rear-Wheel Drive specifications again show 463 kilometres of EPA-estimated range, following a reported temporary listing of 584 kilometres. Canadian shoppers should not treat the higher number as confirmation that a new version is available to order.

What changed, and what is displayed now?

Drive Tesla Canada reported that the Canadian page briefly displayed 584 km and a 5.2-second 0–100 km/h time. Its October 27 update says the site subsequently returned to the earlier specifications.

In our October 27 check of Tesla’s Canadian Model 3 page, with Premium and Rear-Wheel Drive selected, the displayed figures were 463 km of EPA-estimated range and 6.2 seconds for 0–100 km/h. This is a check of the manufacturer’s published specification, not a Speedhounds road test or a guarantee of real-world range.

A website change does not establish a factory switch

The secondary report suggested the higher figures could point to U.S.-built vehicles returning to Canada. A brief specification change followed by a reversion does not establish that conclusion. The evidence described here does not confirm a new sourcing arrangement, a revised Canadian price or a delivery commitment for a 584-km Premium RWD.

Range specifications, order availability and the identity of a particular vehicle are separate questions. A comparison page can describe a configuration without proving that a matching vehicle is available for a Canadian customer to purchase today.

What a Canadian buyer should confirm

Before comparing an offer, save the dated configuration and ask Tesla to confirm the exact variant, its applicable Canadian specifications, the written price and the delivery terms. If an available inventory vehicle is involved, match the vehicle identification number to the documents. Do not calculate an incentive or tariff outcome from this temporary website change.

Tesla cautions that actual range varies with factors including configuration, speed, weather, battery temperature and elevation. Use the rating attached to the specific configuration as a comparison reference, then consider your own trip and charging needs. Our Canadian powertrain guide explains the wider differences between battery-electric and hybrid vehicles.

For now, the useful correction is straightforward: 584 km was reported as a temporary listing; 463 km was the Premium RWD figure displayed during our dated Canadian-page check. Neither observation should be turned into an unannounced product launch.
