Nissan Magnite Review

Nissan produces pretty interesting looking cars, Kicks, which we reviewed 2 years back in the diesel avatar was quite a handsome looking SUV. And here we have Nissan Magnite with some big responsibilities on its shoulder to revive the lost plot and take the sales chart up north. We drove both the Manual and CVT variants, watch to know what we think about the small SUV/Crossover.

Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 72PS power and 96Nm of Torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The second engine option is the turbocharged variant of the same 1-liter engine with 100PS power and 160Nm of Torque mated to a 5 speed manual and a 7 step CVT transmission.

The sub 4 meter crossover measures 3,994mm in length, 1,758mm in width and 1,572mm in height. The new sub-4m compact SUV has a 2,500mm long wheelbase. It has a ground clearance of 205mm.

Watch the video review to know more about the car, how it looks and how it performs. We drove both manual and CVT variants.

Nissan Magnite will be launching on 2nd December, 2020. It is expected to be priced under INR 6 lakh. It is expected to undercut the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon and Toyota Urban Cruiser sub 4 meter SUV/Crossovers.
