2027 Mercedes-Benz Electric GLC Arrives at Studio Toronto

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz Electric GLC is now on display at Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto inside Holt Renfrew’s Bloor Street flagship. The seasonal installation runs through December 31, 2026, giving GTA shoppers another public opportunity to see the battery-electric SUV in person.
Mercedes-Benz Canada’s November 4 announcement calls the Studio appearance the vehicle’s “Canadian debut.” However, the company also described the GLC 400 4MATIC with EQ Technology as making its Canadian debut at the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow earlier this year. The accurate takeaway is that the production-spec electric GLC is now being showcased downtown after Canadian pricing, specifications and ordering information were released on October 20.

Charging and range
The Canadian GLC 400 4MATIC Electric uses a 94-kWh battery and an 800-volt architecture. Mercedes-Benz rates peak DC charging at 330 kW and estimates that approximately 260 to 303 kilometres of range can be added in 15 to 20 minutes under optimal conditions.
The company quotes up to 563 kilometres of estimated range using Natural Resources Canada-approved guidelines. That is a comparison figure, not a guarantee: wheel choice, temperature, speed, terrain, cabin heating and charging conditions can materially change real-world results.
What is standard and what costs extra
Standard Canadian equipment includes a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 14-inch central media display, Google Maps navigation with Electric Intelligence, Digital Vehicle Key, a fixed panoramic glass roof, heated front seats and steering wheel, wireless phone charging, KEYLESS-GO, High Performance LED headlamps, Blind Spot Assist Plus and MB.DRIVE Parking Assist.
Several of the features emphasized in the Studio Toronto display are optional rather than standard. Mercedes-Benz lists three Canadian packages:
- Exclusive — $2,500 plus tax: illuminated door sills, active ambient lighting, illuminated grille panel, SKY CONTROL panoramic roof and a front-passenger display.
- Pinnacle — $5,800 plus tax: adds Burmester 3D sound, ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL, DIGITAL LIGHT and Active Ambient Lighting.
- Pinnacle Plus — $8,500 plus tax: adds projection functions, panoramic-roof ambient lighting, heated rear seats, front-seat massage, MBUX Hyperscreen, Burmester High-End 4D sound, ventilated front seats and PRE-SAFE Impulse Side.

What visitors can explore at Studio Toronto
The electric GLC is presented around a “five-star service” theme. Mercedes-Benz highlights personalized ambient lighting, exterior greeting animations, its AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant, automated parking and the available Hyperscreen, SKY CONTROL roof, AIRMATIC suspension and front-seat massage.
A MANUFAKTUR Atelier displays leather, steering-wheel and pillow samples alongside a wall of paint and upholstery choices. The electric Mercedes-Benz G 580 is also on site, giving visitors a second EV and a broader look at the company’s personalization program.
The automotive display is paired with Holt Renfrew’s limited-edition Hotel Holts collection, complimentary embroidery on select items and a festive Holt’s Café offering. The result is a brand and retail installation rather than a conventional dealer showroom.
Ordering and visiting details
Mercedes-Benz Canada says the 2027 GLC 400 4MATIC Electric SUV is available to order and can be configured online, with customer deliveries expected from October 2026. Availability will vary by dealer.
Mercedes-Benz Studio Toronto is inside Holt Renfrew at 50 Bloor Street West, Toronto and remains open until December 31, 2026. Visitors should confirm current store hours before travelling, especially during the holiday period.
For prospective buyers, the display is useful for checking seat comfort, cabin layout, visibility and materials. A complete comparison should still include an itemized dealer quote, insurance cost and a charging plan based on winter driving and the routes you actually travel.
