2027 Mazda3 Canada: Prices Start at $25,750

Mazda’s compact-car choice still comes down to two familiar shapes for 2027, with a new standard feature across the Canadian range: Rear Seat Alert. Starting MSRP is $25,750 for the Mazda3 sedan and $26,500 for the Mazda3 Sport hatchback.
Those figures exclude $2,095 in freight and pre-delivery expenses, taxes and other fees. Adding that published freight/PDE charge brings the base figures to $27,845 and $28,595 respectively, before the remaining charges. Dealers set actual selling prices.
AWD and turbo choices cost more
Mazda lists the GS Luxury Package with AWD at $32,550 for the sedan and $33,300 for the hatchback. GT Turbo AWD starts at $38,950 and $39,700, before freight/PDE and other charges.
The naturally aspirated 2.5-litre engine is rated at 186 horsepower. Mazda quotes up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft for the turbo on premium fuel. A manual remains listed for the front-drive Mazda3 Sport GT.
Compare the configuration you actually need
A useful shopping exercise is to build two quotes with identical equipment priorities. If you want AWD, compare the specific AWD trims rather than starting with the least expensive front-drive advertisement. If a manual is essential, make transmission availability your first filter.
Ask for an itemized, written total that separates the vehicle, freight, taxes, accessories and optional products. Then compare insurance and financing costs using that same configuration. A lower monthly payment can reflect a longer repayment period, so include the full cost in your decision.
