Mazda Canada October Sales Fall Despite SUV Model Records

Mazda’s October Canadian sales report has two different stories: records for some SUVs, but a decline for the brand overall.
The company sold 6,446 vehicles, down 5.4% from October 2025. Through October, sales totalled 62,594, a drop of 11.6% from the same period last year. Those totals appear in Mazda Canada’s November 3 sales table.
CX-30 and CX-70 set October records
CX-30 sales reached 1,472, up 3.3%, while the CX-70 reached 517, up 28%. Mazda described both results as records for October. CX-90 sales rose 22.9% to 880.
The CX-5 remained the volume leader with 2,580 October sales, although that monthly figure was down 14.2%. Its year-to-date tally was up 2.2%. Mazda3 sales fell 7.8% for the month to 954.
That distinction between a monthly result and a year-to-date comparison matters: growth in one period does not mean growth in both.
What the table cannot tell a shopper
National sales data does not reveal a specific dealership’s stock or the discount available on a particular vehicle. Ask for an itemized quote and a delivery estimate tied to your chosen trim. Compare those details across dealers before treating a monthly sales movement as a negotiating advantage.
