The 2027 Toyota Tundra arrives in Canada in fall 2026 with 31 configurations, standard four-wheel drive and a choice of gas or i-FORCE MAX hybrid power. Canadian suggested prices run from $61,340 for the SR Double Cab 4×4 to $99,446 for the TRD Pro with Performance Package. Freight, PDI, air-conditioning tax, dealer fees, licensing and sales taxes are extra unless a retailer’s advertised price says otherwise.

Engines, towing and chassis

The twin-turbo 3.4-litre V6 makes 358 horsepower in the SR and 389 horsepower in other gas grades. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid combines the V6 with an electric motor for 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. Toyota rates maximum towing capacity at 11,200 pounds when properly equipped; the exact limit varies by cab, box, trim and equipment, so buyers should verify the specific configuration rather than applying the maximum to every truck.

All Canadian Tundras use a 10-speed automatic and part-time four-wheel drive. The standard 122-litre fuel tank, integrated trailer-brake controller and trailer-sway control support long-distance towing. Available trailer technology includes Straight Path Assist, a 360-degree camera system and power-extending tow mirrors.

Standard technology and safety

Every 2027 Canadian Tundra includes a 14-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and Toyota Safety Sense 4.0. TSS 4.0 adds updated sensing and driver-assistance functions, but it does not make the truck self-driving; the driver remains responsible at all times.

Trailhunter, TRD Pro and luxury grades

Trailhunter combines the hybrid powertrain with 18-inch wheels, 33-inch all-terrain tires, underbody protection, a high-clearance front bumper, frame-mounted rock rails and an Old Man Emu suspension package. TRD Pro is the higher-speed off-road alternative, while Platinum, 1794 Edition and Capstone emphasize cabin equipment and premium finishes. Payload, towing and ride characteristics differ significantly among those versions.

2027 Tundra Canadian price range

Powertrain/grade groupCanadian MSRP range
i-FORCE gas models$61,340–$88,270
i-FORCE MAX hybrid models$80,000–$99,446

Toyota’s release contains the full 31-configuration table, including cab, box length and individual MSRP. A shopper comparing quotes should match the complete configuration because similarly named Tundras can have materially different wheelbases, equipment and towing ratings.

Canadian buyer takeaway

The central choice is not simply gas versus hybrid. The hybrid’s extra torque suits towing and heavier off-road builds, but it carries a higher purchase price and may reduce under-seat storage. Gas models cover the widest price range. Before ordering, confirm the door-jamb payload label, configuration-specific tow rating, final all-in price and whether the selected tires and suspension match highway, work-site or trail use.

Full specifications and all 31 prices are in Toyota Canada’s official 2027 Tundra release.
