Porsche and La Marzocco turn the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 into espresso hardware

According to Porsche Cars Canada’s announcement, Porsche and La Marzocco have turned the visual language of the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7 into a limited home-espresso collection, and Porsche Cars Canada says it is available through the Canadian Porsche Shop and selected Porsche Centres.
The collaboration centres on a specially finished La Marzocco Linea Micra espresso machine and Pico grinder, supported by cups, apparel, accessories and a 1:18-scale model. Canadian pricing, local allocation and detailed warranty arrangements were not stated in the announcement.

Two RS 2.7-inspired colourways
Porsche and La Marzocco offer the machine in Grand Prix White with green accents and Tangerine with black accents. Both treatments reference the early-1970s 911 Carrera RS 2.7, including its contrasting graphics and distinctive rear “ducktail” spoiler.
The collection carries RS 2.7 lettering, historic Porsche branding and limited-edition identification. Porsche’s international release also describes a third, Grand Prix White–Blue version exclusive to Germany; it is not part of the two-colour Canadian announcement. Porsche’s Canadian release says each of the two listed espresso-machine colourways is limited to 911 units, making the appliance as much a design collectible as a working coffee machine.
What changes on the Linea Micra
The compact Linea Micra retains its home-barista hardware while adopting Porsche-specific details. The cup rail takes inspiration from the RS ducktail, the handles carry laser-engraved RS/2.7 markings, and the analogue manometers receive Porsche-influenced graphics.
- A convertible three-in-one portafilter for single, double and bottomless configurations
- A brew lever that combines paddle-style operation with an electric switch
- An insulated steam wand
- A removable two-litre water tank
- LED lighting over the working area
- La Marzocco Home app control for temperature, settings and scheduling
Those specifications are drawn from Porsche’s Canadian announcement. Buyers should confirm the electrical requirements, included accessories and Canadian service arrangements for the exact machine before ordering.
Pico grinder and matching accessories
The companion Pico grinder uses the same colour and graphic themes, allowing the machine and grinder to read as a matched set. Porsche also lists espresso cups, cappuccino cups, apparel and other accessories carrying the collaboration’s branding. A 1:18 model of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 completes the link to the original car.
Why the RS 2.7 still works as a design reference
The original 911 Carrera RS 2.7 is remembered for combining a lightweight specification with distinctive functional design. Its ducktail spoiler, bold side graphics and colour contrasts remain immediately recognizable more than five decades later.
On an espresso machine, those details are decorative rather than aerodynamic, but the translation is unusually coherent: the cup rail provides a natural place to echo the spoiler, while the gauges and control surfaces suit the instrument-like graphics.
Canadian availability: what is confirmed
Porsche Cars Canada states that the collection is available online through the Canadian Porsche Shop and at selected Porsche Centres. The release does not provide Canadian prices, a dealer-by-dealer stock list or the number of units allocated to Canada.
Prospective buyers should verify the final Canadian price, delivery charges, taxes, electrical specification and after-sales support with the selling channel. Porsche confirms 911 units per colourway; it has not specified a separate Canadian allocation.

Speedhounds take
Brand collaborations can feel superficial when a logo is the only connection. This project goes further by mapping recognizable RS 2.7 elements onto components that already exist on a serious espresso machine. Whether that design work justifies the likely collector premium will depend on Canadian pricing and how much a buyer values limited production.
